Marianne Hook

MARIANNE R. HOOK (Hornseth), beloved wife of Craig Hook of Lethbridge, AB, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at the age of 58 years. She was the loving mother of Kirsten (Nathan) Turnbull, and she is survived by her mother Alice, brother Willie (Sharon), and sisters Charlene, Janet (Stewart), Sharon (Dwayne), as well as six nephews and seven nieces. She was predeceased by her son Blaise, brother Clayton, and father William. Marianne retired to Lethbridge in 2006 after living and working in Canada's north for 33 years. She fought a courageous battle against congestive heart failure, finally giving in to the disease surrounded by her family. The family would like to offer sincere thanks to everyone at the Chinook Regional Hospital, as well as the Foothills Hospital for the extraordinary care she received. Your professionalism and compassion are second to none, anywhere. At Marianne's request, no service will be held.
