Margaret Soderstrom

MARGARET TERESA SODERSTROM August 2, 2012 It is with great sadness we mourn the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Margaret passed away in Lethbridge, Alberta on August 2, 2012 after a valiant battle with cancer. Through it all she never lost her sense of humor and kept us laughing through our tears. She will be remembered for her unselfish and personal generosity to others. The great joys in her life were her grandsons, gardening and spending time with family. Margaret was born in Mundare, Alberta to Jack and Anne Strilczyk. Marg lived and worked for many years in Pincher Creek, Alberta. After retiring from Canada Post she and George moved to Lethbridge. Margie leaves behind her loving husband George Sulava, children Wendy (Don) of Pincher Creek, Lance of Lethbridge, Lori (Todd) of Okotoks, precious grandsons Jordan (Lori) and Zachery (Lance), daughter-in-law Elletta (Zachery) and all those who knew and loved her. Margaret was pre-deceased by her husband Herbert Soderstrom in 1979 and son Wade Soderstrom in 2009. A Celebration of Margie's life will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge. If friends so desire, donations may be made in her memory to St. Michaels Health Centre in Lethbridge, 1400-9 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 4V5. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
