MARGARET ALLEN BRIDGE, beloved wife, mother, grand & great grandmother passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, April 25, 2011. Margaret lived most of her 88 + years in Raymond, Alberta, Canada. She received her Teaching Certificate and taught school for a year in northern Alberta until she married James Dickson Bridge and returned to Raymond. Margaret also received a Music Degree from the Royal Conservatory of London and taught piano lessons for over thirty years. Margaret served the community as a long-standing member of the Raymond Auxiliary Hospital Board. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she willingly served others in various leadership, teaching, and music capacities. She and her husband also served two missions to Hawaii. Margaret enjoyed watching and participating in sports. She was a constant learner, excellent teacher, and loyal friend. She was also a wonderful mother, homemaker and cook. Margaret enjoyed travelling with her husband, parties with the "Gang", and family gatherings. She is predeceased by: her sweetheart, James Dickson Bridge, her parents, Heber F. & Valeria Nalder Allen, a sister, Marion Johnson, one grandchild, Michelle Stevens, two great grandchildren: Tyne Pierce & Devin Stevens. She is survived by two sisters, Louise (Ben) Kenney, Katharine (Joseph) Keeler, a brother, Douglas (Rae) Allen, her six children: Rodney (Sally) Bridge, Norma Stevens, Helen (Gary) Meek, Beverly (Mark) Wilson, Maureen (Richard) Larsen, Louise (Bruce) Hudson, 39 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren. Friends may meet the family on Friday evening, April 29 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the church, or prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, TAYLOR STREET CHAPEL, 221 North, 400 West, Raymond at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Greg Peterson officiating. Interment to follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond.
