Lucille Robinson

ROBINSON LUCILLE MARION ROBINSON, beloved wife of Harold John Robinson, passed away in Lethbridge on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the age of 94 years. Lucille is survived by her family: Elizabeth "Betty" Wiebe, Lethbridge, AB; Judy (Bob) Rowley, Lethbridge, AB; Shirley Dahl, Windermere, BC; and Steven (Colleen) Robinson, Chilliwack, BC; and by son-in-law Alain (Denise) Hebert of Coaldale, AB. She leaves behind 23 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and 4 great, great grandchildren. Lucille was predeceased by her husband Harold and by her two daughters, Mildred Anne and Peggy Lee, and also by her only sibling, Harold Lionel Last. She was born April 27, 1921 in Regina, Saskatchewan. Lucille married Harold John Robinson on June 24, 1942. Six children were born to them. They farmed many years at Lintlaw, Saskatchewan. In 1967 they left the farm and moved to Chilliwack, BC. They loved it there, but eventually moved to Lethbridge and retired, where she continued to be the wonderful homemaker. Gardening, and being involved in her Church and Bible Studies were her main occupations. Their little Pomeranian Gracie was the love of their life, travelling everywhere with them. They spent many wonderful weeks each year travelling and visiting family members near and far. On their 50th Anniversary they travelled the Alaska Highway, a real highlight as it was a 50 year celebration of the construction of that Highway. Mom loved the Lord and was a great example to her family. I miss you Mom, but welcome to Heaven! The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge, with Pastor Wayne Boersma officiating. A Private Graveside Service will be held prior to the funeral service.
