LEEMAN ELIJAH ROSS 'JACK' TAYLOR passed away at Raymond General Hospital on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at the age of 74 years, beloved husband of Beatrice Potts Taylor 55 years. He leaves behind three sons, one daughter, and one step son: Allan (Pat) Taylor of Raymond, Randy (Pam) Taylor of Raymond, Judy (Sam) Gibson of Raymond, Richard (Wendy) Taylor of Altario, Stanley (Nancy) Armstrong of Courtland, Ontario. His 10 loving grandchildren: Amanda (Kevin) Shantz, Tina (Darryl) Raffay, Sarah Taylor (Jason Csonka), Scott, Jeffrey (Tracy), Mathew, Darrel, Billy Gibson, Debra Taylor and Bobbie Jo Taylor. He has two surviving sisters: Mabel Wilson of Ontario and Mary Knack of Langton, Ontario; four great grandchildren: Kayleigh, Brandt, Colby Shantz and Keira Raffay; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jack was born in Ontario to Ross and Eva Taylor. He moved to Alberta in 1979 where he worked at the Lethbridge Iron Works until he retired in 1991. He is predeceased by a son Albert Taylor, a daughter Bonnie Taylor, a brother Stanley Taylor, and his mom and dad. Friends may meet the family on Monday, December 22, 2008 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME. Interment to follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond. Memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 130-6001-1A Street SW, Calgary, AB T2H 0G5.
