LaVerne Foote

LaVerne Foote, wife of the late Guy S. Foote, passed away on October 2, 2013 in Lethbridge, Alberta. She is survived by her daughters; Gaylia (Greg) Leavitt, Diana (Ronald) Shields, Brenda Marshall, Patsy (LeRon) Litchfield and Marsha (Larry) Jackson, 23 Grandchildren, 46 Great Grandchildren, a sister; Edna Mae and three sisters-in-law. She is predeceased by her husband Guy S. Foote, daughter (Shirley); parents (Ervan and Louella Harris), a granddaughter, 2 brothers and a sister. LaVerne was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. Her Gladiolas and Christmas cards will be missed by people in the community. The Funeral Service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Welling (Highway 5) on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 11:00 am with Bishop Randal Wilde officiating. Friends may meet the family at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge on Monday, October 7, 2013 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm or at the Church prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45am. Interment to follow at the Temple Hill Cemetery in Raymond. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 317-10 Street South, Lethbridge, T1J 2M7.
