Karen Christie

KAREN LYNN CHRISTIE, passed away suddenly after a courageous battle with illness, on Friday, August 3, 2012 at the age of 52 years. She is the beloved daughter of Dolores Christie and Eric Christie, sister to Debbie, Robert (Rosie) and Jo-Ann (Gary), and numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived by a special friend, Peter Stein. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703 - 13 St. N., Lethbridge as well as at the church prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, NORTHSIDE CHAPEL, 2223 6A Ave. N., Lethbridge with Bishop Aaron Bridge officiating. Interment will follow in the Archmount Cemetery, West Lethbridge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Schizophrenia Society, 234C-12 St. B North, Lethbridge, AB T1H 2K7, to the Bowman Arts Centre, 811 - 5 Ave. S., Lethbridge, AB T1J 0V2, or to the ICU Unit at the Chinook Regional Hospital, 960-19 Street South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 1W5.
