Julienne Horlacher

JULIENNE "Judy" MARIE HORLACHER beloved wife of the late Andrew Kergan of Raymond, passed away at the Raymond Hospital on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the age of 85 years. She is the loving mother of: George (Yvonne) Kergan of Lethbridge, Gordon (Mary) Kergan of Raymond, Brenda (Dale) Ketcheson of Raymond, Douglas (Cindy) Kergan of Redcliff, Ian Kergan of Lethbridge, Laurie Anne Southgate (Kevin Rasch) of Lethbridge, and Darcy (Tammy) Horlacher of Red Deer. Judy also leaves behind 21 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her ex-husband Owen Horlacher, sisters Janet Archer, and Betty Bourassa. Judy was predeceased by her husband Andrew Kergan, and 9 brothers and sisters. She loved to knit and give away mittens and toques. During the war years she taught roller skating at a rink, where she met Andrew. As a teenager, she delivered items for a drug store. She liked to tell us she was the first female bike delivery person in Winnipeg. Judy loved to play crib and had a perfect 29 hand once. She was a master bowler and loved to coach others, and managed a bowling alley for a while. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 17, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, TAYLOR STREET CHAPEL, Raymond. Friends may meet the family prior to the service at the church from 12:00 to 1:45 p.m.
