Julia Bernice Red Crow

Julia (Bernice) Redcrow passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, August 7, 2017 at the age of 69 years.

Bernice was born in Cardston, AB on August 9, 1947. She attended St. Mary’s Residential School. While there, she learned about the Catholic church; she was a very spiritual person. She moved to Lethbridge, where she worked numerous jobs and raised her son Darcy. She enjoyed her family. She was a kind, loving, caring and generous person.She loved Bingo and church, where she made many friends.

She is survived by her son Darcy Wayne (Karen) Red Crow; her Brother Rodney (Lavern) First Rider; Special niece and nephews Marjorie, Kevin (Carolyn), Kirk (Bernadine); special Grandchildren Kyle, Tate & Mya. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Bernice was predeceased by her parents Edward Red Crow & Agnes Iron Horn; siblings Burton Red Crow, Horace Red Crow, Edward Red Crow, Albert Red Crow, Wilton Red Crow, Loretta Soop, Katherine Red Crow, Clara Red Crow, Phyllis Red Crow and Melinda Red Crow.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, August 14, 2017 at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 St. N., Lethbridge, AB with Deacon Cliff Bogdan, celebrant.
