It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Julia (Julie) Megella. She passed away peacefully February 1 at the Chinook Regional Hospital.
Julie was born August 17, 1939 in Brooks, Alberta. She married George Megella on September 3, 1960 and was blessed with two sons, Kelly (Tracy) Megella and Brian (Terre) Megella. She is also survived by her four grandchildren: Jordan, Courtney, Cody, Krystyn, and her great granddaughter Charlotte.
Julie was predeceased by her husband George and granddaughter Kelsey.
She enjoyed her visits from her grandchildren and sons. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed going for coffee with her friends.
Julie was a loving mother, grandmother, friend, and confidant.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge.
