
JUDITH NILSSON passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 in the Raymond Hospital at the age of 86 years. Judy is survived by her sweetheart Don of 65 years, children: Charlotte (Tom) Memmott, Larry (Ruth) Nilsson; 9 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren; 2 siblings Enid Seely and Philip Proctor. She is predeceased by her son Stephen and parents Auer and Beatrice Proctor, 2 brothers and 5 sisters. Judy was born in Stirling, Alberta December 30, 1922. She received her education in Stirling and began a nursing course in Vancouver. In 1942 she married Donald Nilsson in the Cardston Temple. She had many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including a mission with her husband to the Philippines. Her life was centered around serving the lives of others and her family. She was known for her homemade chocolates and her delicious pies. Her family was always the most important part of her life and she will be deeply missed. Judy will be remembered for her unwavering faith and dedication to her Heavenly Father. We would like to thank the staff and doctors at the Raymond Hospital during her short stay. The Funeral Service will be held at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, Stirling Chapel, on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Ben Nilsson officiating. Friends may meet the family prior to the service at the church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Interment to follow in the Stirling Cemetery.
