Joseph Entz

ENTZ SEPT. 1928 - Dec. 2015 JOSEPH ENTZ of Warner AB, beloved husband of Katie Entz passed away at home on Dec. 5, 2015 at the age of 87 years. He was born at Milltown, South Dakota on Sept. 2, 1928 and came to Elmspring Colony in 1929, then moved to Bluegrass Colony in 2002 where he lived until his passing. On June 5, 1956 Joseph married Katie Entz and after 59.5 years of marriage, they were blessed with a big family. He leaves his sons; Walter (Elsie), Joe (Esther), Paul, John (Julia), his daughters; Linda, Katie (Jacob), Annie (Daniel), Mary (Tim), Justina (David), Elsie, and Dora (David). Joseph was blessed with 40 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers; Peter and Michael, two sisters; Elizabeth and Rebecca and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Dad was a born farmer, and with the positions he was assigned on the colony, he led by example and his hardworking ethic and conservative values were instilled in those around him and will not be forgotten. May he rest in peace. A Funeral Service will be held on December 8, 2015. Interment to follow at Bluegrass Colony Cemetery.
