John Woolf

JOHN MARTIN WOOLF husband to Jean Woolf (Deibert), passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the age of 80. He leaves 4 children, Lonny Brown, Kim (Joan), Martin (Sharon) and Rory (Kaylana); 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Dori Spackman, Newana Holt and a brother Sheldon Woolf. John was predeceased by his parents, Sheldon and Martha Woolf. He grew up in Cardston. After finishing high school, John had several jobs in Lethbridge mainly in the automotive business. He worked at Custom Engine and Parts servicing areas South, North and East Lethbridge. John had great pride and enjoyment in serving his customers and always loved the work. He served the LDS church faithfully and served in many positions. John was Bishop in Coaldale and served on the High Council in the Lethbridge East Stake. The Funeral Service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Welling Chapel (Highway 5) on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 11:00 am with Bishop Randal Wilde officiating. The Woolf family would like to thank all the caregivers, staff and doctors at Prairie Ridge, Good Samaritans in Raymond for their wonderful care.
