John Triomphe

JOHN PETRUS TRIOMPHE, passed away in Lethbridge on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at the age of 83 years. John was born and raised in Innisfail, Alberta. He married Della Smith of Cardston, Alberta in October of 1952. They lived in Innisfail until 1974, then moved to Vernon, B.C. In 1990 they moved to Lethbridge where John was self-employed working into his 70's. He was a man of integrity and a hard worker. First and foremost he was committed to his family and ready to sacrifice all for them if needed. He was a man who could fix anything and did. He quietly went about doing for his family. He was intelligent, genuine, uncomplicated and unpretentious. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife; Della, daughter; Valerie Christman and a son; Curtis. He leaves behind six grandchildren and three great grandchildren, Valerie's family; Lisa (Chris) Kosanovich and Megan, Monte (Mary) and Kaytie, Travis (Marina) and Troy, and Ryan, also Curtis' family; Michelle and David. Friends may meet with the family from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 26, 2009 at CHRISTENSEN SALMON FUNERAL HOME, 327 - 10 Street South, Lethbridge. A Graveside Service will be held at the Cardston Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 27, 2009. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Michael's Health Centre, 1400-9 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 4V5.
