JOHN E. HEATH 1922 - 2010 JOHN EDMOND HEATH, beloved husband of C. Patricia Heath (war bride) of 65 years, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, February 26, 2010 at the age of 88 years. He is the loving father of 2 sons: Peter (Sharon) Heath of Cardston and Lehi (Lorraine) Heath of Lethbridge. John leaves behind 19 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. John is also survived by his sister Mildred Seabrook of Ottawa. He is predeceased by his parents Herbert and Blanche Heath and a granddaughter Jennifer Heath. John was born in Ottawa, ON. He was in the Royal Canadian Engineers in World War II and took part in the D Days landing. He stayed with the army for 25 years, then went back to college to become a school teacher, then ended his working days in the Postal Service on special government mail. He loved his cottage in Ontario and camping on Vancouver Island. His greatest joy and priority was family. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, Lethbridge Stake Centre, 2410-28 Street South, with Brent King officiating. Friends may meet the family prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Interment in the Magrath Cemetery, Magrath, AB.
