John Keith Hancock

John Keith Hancock, beloved son of Connie K. Hancock and Keith L. Hancock (deceased), passed away on July 10, 2026 at the age of 63.

John was born August 9, 1962 in Raymond, Alberta. He enjoyed a wonderful childhood growing up with siblings, cousins and friends . The family enjoyed camping, time at the cabin in Montana, travelling, playing and working together.

John had a curious mind, taking apart and putting back together everything from clocks to engines. He was the president of the High School and then later served an honorable mission in Arizona learning the Navaho language.

He was truly a renaissance man, graduating with an engineering degree from Utah Valley University. While there he also took dance and art classes and was very talented in sculpting, charcoal drawing, ammonite restoration, jewelry making, writing poetry and more. He also loved to garden and transplant trees. John loved animals, especially cats and rescued many over the years.

John had many struggles with his health and addictions in his later years, but that didn't change his loving heart. John will be missed by his family and friends.

John is survived by his mom, Connie K. Hancock, brother Ric (Carla) Hancock, sister Kristie (John) Fisher, sister Lisa (Clint) Hoffman, son Keith Fisher, granddaughter Raylene, and daughter Arielle Vandenburg, as well as many nieces, nephews and other family.
