IVA LOWRY MATSON-BACON August 18, 1922 - October 24, 2011 It is with gentle relief but heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Iva Lowry Matson-Bacon, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, sister and aunt. Iva passed away peacefully during the evening of Monday, October 24, 2011. Mourning her loss are her children, Bill (Maureen) Matson, Dennis (Patricia) Matson and Terri (Barry) Large; her husband Raymond; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and her brother Merlin. She was predeceased by her first husband Grant LeRoy Matson; her parents Annie Mae and Benjamin Lowry; a grandson Steven Eisenhuth; two sisters and three brothers. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2011 at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703 - 13 Street North, Lethbridge at 11:00 a.m. Friends may meet the family prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Interment to follow at the Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to a charity of your choice. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and caregivers of Legacy Lodge and the staff of Heritage Lodge, as well as to Dr. Leam for all you did for Iva.
