Ione (Joy) Droste

IONE (JOY) DROSTE (HABERMAN) January 1, 1941 - March 7, 2015 JOY passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital with her family at her bedside. The last three months were very hard on her and we want to thank the staff in ICU for the care and comfort given to her this past week. Besides her loving husband of 53 years Lorenz (Lorn) Droste, she is survived by her daughters Shannon Droste of Red Deer and Patricia (Gary) Derksen of Lethbridge; brother Jack (Rita) Haberman; sisters-in-law Elaine Schulz of Linden and Jean (Don) Smith of Edmonton; three nephews: Albert, Ron, and Tim Haberman and their families. Joy was predeceased by her parents John and Mary Haberman. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge with Deacon Bill Young officiating.
