Henry Evan Jensen

Henry Evan Jensen, beloved husband of the late Myrtle Baker Jensen, passed away peacefully in Raymond on Thursday March 31, 2011 with his family at his side at the age of 90 years.
Evan leaves to mourn his children: Shirley (Allan) Gregson, Joanne (Drew) Cahoon, Cynthia (Dean) Sallenback, Douglas (Brenda) Jensen, Sandra (Jim) Alston, and Jacqueline (Rod) Simpson as well as 28 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his two brothers, Raymond Jensen and Alan Jensen.

He is predeceased by his wife Myrtle, his children Carol Ann, Wayne, and Evelyn, his grandsons Spencer Gregson and Jared Alston, his parents Henry and Grace Jensen, his parents-in-law Philip and Lottie Baker, his siblings: Olive, Bryant, Lewis, Melvin and Gordon.

Evan was raised in a farming family, and he loved country living. He loved family, and enjoyed long visits with both his immediate and extended family. He valued these relationships greatly. He enjoyed being part of a small community, and he had the respect and friendship of many. A lot of his friends grew old with him and still love to call him by his nickname A
