Helen Stanko

HELEN STANKO, beloved wife of the late John Stanko, passed away in Lethbridge on Friday, July 22, 2011 at the age of 84 years. Helen is survived by her son, Lawrence (Phyllis) Stanko; two granddaughters, Heidi (Aaron) Bartoo and Pearl (Fabian) Sauceda; five great grandchildren, Mikaela and Braeden Bartoo, Boston, Dash and Fabian Jr. Sauceda; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Helen was born August 2, 1926 in Hardieville and married John July 4, 1948. She lived in and enjoyed Lethbridge her whole life. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday July 28, 2011 at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703 13 Street North, Lethbridge, with Rev. Gary Sedgwick officiating. Friends may meet the family prior to the service from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. Interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Box 2211, Lethbridge, AB T1J 4K7.
