Helen Baker

BAKER HELEN MARIE BAKER, 76, passed away November 30, 2014 with her husband by her side in Coaldale Alberta. She was born August 3, 1938, in Selkirk, Manitoba to Joachim and Helen Cavanaugh. She is the youngest of 8 siblings. At 19, she was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and at 25 she served a mission. Since her baptism, she has been a faithful active member of the church. On August 25, 1969, she married her sweetheart, Edward Alvin Baker in the Salt Lake Temple. She had four children: Philip Edward, Pamela Joy, Kevin Boyd and Tracy Danielle. Her family was her life. Helen is survived by her husband Edward Baker; sister, Jean Karlen; brothers, Raymond and Ernest Cavanaugh; 4 children and their spouses, Philip and Eileen Baker, Pamela and Kenneth Croft, Kevin and Tess Baker, Tracy and David Wood; and 18 grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, COALDALE CHAPEL, 2216-21 A. Avenue, Coaldale with Bishop Mark Sauer officiating.
