Harold Salmon

HAROLD SALMON beloved husband of the late "Bea" Mary (Rezansoff) Salmon, passed away peacefully in Lethbridge on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the age of 81 years. Harold was born in Lethbridge, AB to Heber (Shrimp) and Florence (Flossie) Salmon on June 25, 1929. He was predeceased by his wife Mary (Bea), his parents, brother Ronnie, sister Thelma, granddaughters Donna and Diane, and his grandson Terry. He leaves to mourn his brother: Melvin (Pat), his children: Karen, Cindy, Beverly (Bruce), Bob (Debbie), Helen, Janet (Rob), Jo (Ross), Patti (Cliff), 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Harold was raised in the McNally area. He had various jobs until he chose the career of excavating working with his dragline. Harold married Bea on December 28, 1964, blessing him with six growing children. Together they had 2 daughters. Harold will be deeply missed but comfort is taken in knowing that he has been welcomed home and is safe in God's gentle care. A visitation will be held on Friday evening, September 17 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge, with Mr. Robert Follis officiating. Interment in the Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge.
