Harold Robinson

ROBINSON HAROLD JOHN ROBINSON, beloved husband of Lucille Robinson, passed away in Lethbridge on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the age of 93 years. Harold is survived by his wife Lucille of 71½ years. He is the loving father of: Elizabeth (Betty) Wiebe of Lethbridge, Judy (Bob) Rowley of Lethbridge, Shirley (Ken) Dahl of Radium, BC, and Steven (Colleen) Robinson of Chilliwack, BC, and by a son-in-law, Alain Hebert. He leaves behind 23 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Harold is predeceased by his bothers Cecil and Howard, and daughters Mildred and Peggy. Harold was born December 13, 1920 in Arcola, Saskatchewan. He married Lucille Marion Last on June 24, 1942. Six children were born to them. He farmed many years at Lintlaw, Saskatchewan. They retired in 1967 and moved to Chilliwack, BC where Harold worked in construction for many years. In 1979 they moved to Calmar, AB, then to Spruce Grove and on to retire in Lethbridge, AB. He loved gardening and their little dog "Gracie". They spent many wonderful years travelling and visiting family members. On their 50th Anniversary they went to Alaska, as it was the 50th anniversary of the Alaskan Highway. They were very involved in their church and Bible study groups. Dad loved the Lord and was a good example to his family. Welcome to Heaven, Dad! The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge with Pastor Wayne Boersma officiating. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
