Gladys Harper

HARPER July 23, 1931- January 1, 2015 The family announces the passing of our loving wife and mother Gladys Harper (Odenvald) at the age of 83 at the St. Michael's Health Care Centre. Gladys is survived by her husband Roy and children Margaret Hardy (Andy), Norma Kaustinen (Ed), Roy Harper and David Harper (Tracy) as well as 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Jean Cherniwchan, Liz Romivak, Mary Kowal, Florence French and 1 brother John. Gladys was predeceased by 1 brother and 1 sister. Gladys enjoyed crafts, gardening, sewing and spending time in the outdoors. She was an avid watcher of curling, baseball and hockey. What she enjoyed most though was spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren sharing lots of laughs and good times. The family would like to thank the team at St. Michael's Palliative Care. As per Gladys' wishes, no funeral will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 317- 10 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 2M7.
