GERHARDUS (Gerry) FRANCISCUS HEERINK, beloved husband of Siny Heerink passed away in Lethbridge on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at the age of 80 years. Along with his wife of 53 years, he leaves behind his children and grandchildren: Susan (Emil) Johnson - Sam (Amy) Kevin, Jeffrey (Ashley); Richard (Tina Rempel) Heerink - Stephan, Mikael; Jerry (Denise) Heerink - Jordan (Chelsey), Jelisa (Rusty), Janelle; Shirley (Bob) Young - Mitch, Jessina; honorary grandchildren: Mike, Jen (Wade). Predeceased by daughter-in-law Diane. Prayers will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405-12 Avenue South, Lethbridge. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Church with Fr. John Kohler Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Lethbridge, 402-740-4 Ave. S., Lethbridge, AB T1J 0N9, or to a charity of your choice.
