George Sarafenchon

SARAFENCHON GEORGE SARAFENCHON, beloved husband of the late Beverly Sarafenchon of Lethbridge, passed away at Lethbridge Fairmont Extendicare on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the age of 83 years. George was born to William and Lucy Sarafenchon and grew up in Foxford, Saskatchewan. George married Beverly Moody in 1960 and his masonry career brought the family to Lethbridge in 1971. George and Bev were devoted parents to Scott and Kami. George is predeceased by his wife Beverly and sister Mary. He is survived by his son Scott (Tara); daughter Kami (Don); sister Lee Mroz, niece Roberta; and nephew Darryl. George is remembered for his kind heart and strong work ethic. He loved spending time with family and friends. George could often be found puttering in his garage and took pride in his yard and home. His passions included pets, gardening, and lapidary work. He was a member of the Lethbridge Rock Hounds. There will be a private family gathering at a later date.
