WRIGHT January 7, 1920 - January 16, 2012 GARTH LEO WRIGHT of Raymond, AB, beloved husband of the late Donna Snow passed away peacefully on Monday, January 16, 2012 at the age of 92 years. He will be greatly missed by his family: son Brian Wright, and daughter Norma (Mark) Zemp, 7 grandchildren - Nephi Wright, Jessica (Rodney) Peart, Russell (Kristina) Zemp, Kristin (Cord) Ross, Logan (Amy) Zemp, Brittany Zemp and Mason Zemp; and 8 great-grandchildren. Brother Lionel (Marie) Wright and sister Zelma Romeril. Sister-in-law Durene (Karl) Huchinson and brothers-in-law Gordon (Barbara) Snow and John (Bev) Mehew. He was predeceased by Donna Snow, his eternal companion of 47 years and by his second wife, Margaret Scott, sisters: Beatrice, Lillian, Vera, and brothers: Zeldon, Cleon, Leon, Alva, and LeRoy. Garth was a devoted husband and father who loved serving his family and friends. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions throughout his life; he particularly loved Scouting. Garth was an avid fisherman and loved the Rocky Mountains and taught his family to love them as well. He will be remembered with love by all who knew him. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the doctors and staff at the Good Samaritans Prairie Ridge facility in Raymond, Alberta for the excellent care Garth received. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, January 20, 2012 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, KNIGHT STREET CHAPEL, 260 E 200 N, Raymond with Bishop Ron McMullin officiating. Friends may meet the family at the church on Thursday, January 19 from 7:00-8:00 pm, and from 10:00-10:45 am prior to the service on Friday. Interment in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond.
