FRANK HENRY STATHAM Born: January 13, 1909 Passed Away: March 21, 2010 My family, my friends - When you hear the thoughts expressed here I will no longer be with you, but at this time I am so aware of what you have meant to me. Born in 1909 of British parents I came to Canada in 1912 and managed to survive and have a meaningful part in a world that included an epidemic in 1919, a world depression and a world war. The memories of these remain but it has been the years following that are precious. Blessed with a wonderful wife and children, Ted, Bette and Ken and their families, life has been good. The associations that I have enjoyed through golfing, dancing, cards and bingo have contributed so much to how good it has been. My final resting place will be beside my dear wife, Myrtle in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Melfort, Saskatchewan among wonderful friends of former years. I love you all. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Michael's Health Centre, 1400-9 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 4V5.
