Francis Betty Chief Body

CHIEF BODY 'NAATSIKAPOINIHKATA' (Two Names) FRANCES BETTY CHIEF BODY, better known as Betty, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 1, 2011. Betty was born to the late Levi and Mary Loretta Mills (nee Chief Body). She was born on October 26, 1963 in Cardston, Alberta. As a baby Betty was adopted by her Uncle Joseph Chief Body whom he raised to the present day. Betty is survived by her adopted father Joseph Chief Body and her children: Marion (deceased) Chief Body, Kalbert (Amanda) Chief Body, Katherine Chief Body, and Jalen Chief Body; six grandchildren; grandmother Betty Healy; two brothers, Patrick Evelyn Mills and Winslow Mills; and several aunties and uncles. She was predeceased by her daughter Marion Chief Body, by her parents Levi and Mary Loretta Mills (Chief Body), her grandparents Joe and Katie Chief Body and Mr. & Mrs. Willie Mills; and numerous aunties, uncles, and cousins. The Wake Service will be held on Wednesday, September 7 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge. The Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Catherine's Cemetery, Standoff.
