Eveline Costley

EVELINE NICHOLAS COSTLEY September 28, 1907 - May 25, 2008 Eve was born in Wrexham, North Wales. While nursing at St. Stephens Hospital in London she met Doug Costley. Soon she came to Canada as a war bride. Eve and Doug had many hardships but with good neighbors and friends they overcame many. Eve was grateful for everything that happened in her life, especially all her four legged friends. Eve's needs were small, but her heart was large, donating to many charities. Eve recently celebrated her 100th birthday with many long time friends. She was proud right up to the end, not wanting any family or friends to see her down and out. Surviving is her son Chris (Susan) of Lethbridge, two grandchildren, Jeremy (Sabbath) and Christie (Henry) and three great grandchildren, Jarrod, Morgan and Derrick. There will be no service as per Eve's request. Memorial donations can be made to the Salvation Army Community Church, 1302-4 Ave. S., Lethbridge, AB T1J 0R4. The family would like to thank everyone who was a part of Eve's 100 years of life. She cherished you all and could not have done it without you.
