Eunice Marie Spencer

EUNICE MARIE 'Mae' SPENCER (Lind) of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at Edith Cavell Care Centre on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at the age of 92 years. Mae is survived by her children: Linda (Larry) Burr and Reed (Sue) Spencer of Lethbridge; grandchildren: Marcie (Jack) Peterson, Jaycee (Brad) Wiebe, Devin Burr, Jodi (John) Quinlan, Ryan (Lesley) Spencer; seven great grandchildren: Jordann, Cody, Kaitlin, Nicole, Thomas, Sara, and Seth; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Roy, sisters Doreen Ully and Donna Bair, brothers Howard and Verl Lind and her stepchildren Merlen Hlavka and Burt Spencer. Born in Sweet Grass, MT to Fred and Nita Lind, she was raised in the Milk River area. She met and married Roy in June of 1943. They spent most of their lives in Lethbridge. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and "Great" whose quick wit and endless sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her. The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Arthritis Society, Suite 200, 1301-8 St. SW, Calgary, AB T2R 1B7, or the charity of your choice.
