Ethel Franklin

ETHEL M. FRANKLIN (mom) passed away peacefully at St. Michael's Palliative Care Unit on Friday, December 23, 2011. She leaves behind her four daughters: Diane (Garth) Wilson of Leduc, Sue (Reed) Spencer of Lethbridge, Cheryle Donaldson of Lethbridge, and Verna (Bill) Kostiuk of Lethbridge; a daughter-in-law Helen Franklin of Kamloops; three sisters: Edith Knapp of Drayton Valley, Jean Thiessen of Vancouver, and Eve (Norm) Petrie of Lethbridge, plus numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild. Ethel was predeceased by her son Ross Franklin, son-in-law Thomas Donaldson, and one great great grandchild, Nevaeh; her parents Thomas and Charlotte Cardwell, plus six sisters and two brothers. The family would like to thank the many friends, nurses and support staff who compassionately cared for mom throughout the last few months. We love and miss you mom; rest in peace.
