Edna McLeod

EDNA ANDERSON McLEOD, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 91 on July 1, 2007 at the Edith Cavell Care Centre. She was born September 17, 1915 to Junius Lamont Anderson and Johanna Pfeiffer. She married Alexander Corbett McLeod May 11, 1942. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents two brothers, Eric and Hans Gunther Anderson, and one sister, Helga Anderson Pisko. She is survived by one brother, David James, two daughters: Ann Margaret Fletcher and Patricia Jean (Jim) Monson, 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, Lethbridge Stake Centre, 2410-28 Street South, with Bishop Mark Hasegawa officiating. Friends may meet the family prior to the service from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. Interment to follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond. Many thanks to Ken and Alice Hicken, Lee and Nelda Bullock, the staff of Edith Cavell Care Centre and the many friends who visited her. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humanitarian Fund of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
