Dorothy Bennett

DOROTHY BENNETT passed away suddenly, yet peacefully, on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 surrounded by loving family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her 3 children: Cheryl (Jim) Chudleigh, Debbie (Don) Reneau, Gayle (Pierre) Maasakkers, 19 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Kay, a son Darwin, and three grandchildren, Danny Nelson, Jason Anderson and Gayle Debbie Reneau. Dorothy was born March 12, 1923 to Alma Miller and Annie Bushman in Magrath where she lived her entire life. She married Kay Rex Bennett on June 26, 1946. She was an active member The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Dorothy worked at the Magrath Hospital as the Medical Records Librarian for 30 years. Dorothy loved life and lived to enjoy her family and friends. You can tell the type of person she was by the amount of people who loved her. Dorothy loved everyone and everyone loved her. She was soft spoken and always found the best in everyone. Funeral Services will be held Monday June 29, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, Magrath Stake Center. Friends may meet the family prior to the service at the church from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. Interment will follow at the Magrath Cemetery.
