Donna Robinson

ROBINSON DONNA NORMA ROBINSON passed away peacefully in Vulcan on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the age of 75 years. She is survived by one sister, LaVere Fillmore, sisters-in-laws Leah Robinson and Kathy Robinson, and by a brother-in-law James Gibb. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Donna was predeceased by her parents Harry and Hannah Robinson, her brothers Stewart, Dooley, Arthur and Larry, her sisters and brothers-in-law Lillian (Howie) Klippert, Jean (Gordon) Sanderson, Jeanette (Max) Court, and LaVon Gibb. Donna was born April 4th, 1939, the youngest of 10 children. She was raised in Raymond, and on the family farm south of Raymond. She spent many hours with her father working on the farm and learned the value of hard work. Upon graduation Donna attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, and the University of Montana in Missoula, graduating as a teacher. She taught one year in Stevensville, Montana before moving to Vulcan where she taught and coached hundreds of students over the next 35 years. Upon retirement Donna also served on the County of Vulcan school board. She loved teaching, and loved the students that she taught. She made life-long friends with her students and colleagues. She also loved gardening and her flowers. Donna loved her nieces and nephews, and the many family gatherings the Robinson's held. She was a good and generous aunt, and will be missed by her family. Donna was also blessed with good friends Marilyn and Barry Gore, and their children Linda and Cam, who became a second family to Donna. They were there helping and supporting her during her final illness. At Donna's request, there will be no funeral service. Family and friends will gather at a later date to celebrate Donna's life.
