DESMOND McGRATH "He was a good man." The family of DESMOND McGRATH are sad to announce the passing of such a good man. Des passed away at the Calgary Foothills Hospital on Friday, February 29, 2008 at the age of 75 years. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Joan (Hass) McGrath and their children: Penny (Barry) Freeman, Linda (Craig) Lundquist, Rema (Keith) McCrae, Mark (Robyn) Jones, Craig (Jodi) Jones, David (Cathy) McGrath, Doug (Serena) Jones. He was predeceased by son Darren Jones. Des had a kind and generous heart. He loved his family and will be missed by 25 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He served in the community and was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a friend to everyone he met. His unique sense of humor blessed our lives, and lifted our spirits. Friends may meet the family ONLY on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge. Family and friends wishing to attend the interment are invited to the Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge on Wednesday, March 5 at 12:00 noon. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, Lethbridge East Stake Centre, 4105 Forestry Avenue South, with Bishop Richard Hill officiating.
