Danny McGinnis

MR. DANNY GARTH McGINNIS, beloved husband of Tracy, passed away after a brief battle with cancer at St. Michael's Health Centre on January 31, 2008 at the age of 48 years. He is the loving father of Lindsay Smith of 100 Mile House, Carly (Randy) Vair, Kyle McGinnis, Tyler McGinnis and Shawney McGinnis all of Lethbridge. He is the grandfather of Rachael and Hunter. He is also survived by his sister Patricia McGinnis of Victoria, her children Sterling and Tyler, his dog Bear and many close friends in Alberta and BC. Danny was predeceased by his parents Reuben and Leone McGinnis as well as his special friend Denise Burton. Dan was a loving father, a proud grandfather and a loyal friend. He could always be counted on for a laugh and was the master of the barbecue. Memorial services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2223 6A Ave. N., Lethbridge on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at St. Michael's.
