Cory Ray Nicholas Nelson

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Cory Ray Nicholas Nelson in his home in Lethbridge at the age of 34 years.

Cory was very kindhearted, a gentle soul, and always curious, with the ability to see art and beauty in the world around him. He was a graduate from the Alberta Academy of Art and Design and is a very accomplished artist. He was very patient, caring and generous with his time and attention and teaching those around him. He was always trying to help and give back to his friends and family and would never hesitate to offer assistance when needed. He had a love for the outdoors and animals, especially his dog Kubrick.

Cory is loved and missed by his parents; Shelley Kronebusch and Randy (Cindy) Nelson, as well as his siblings; Jackie (Jeff) Standing, Shawna Nelson (Guto Bellis), Alisha Nelson (Thanh Pham), Kayla Nelson and Dallas Nelson. He was also adored by his ten nieces and two nephews and survived by his dog; Kubrick.

He left us too soon, he is very loved and will be dearly missed.

Friends may meet the family on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Stirling, AB (413 - 3 St.) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be recorded at the Stirling Cemetery on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 1:00PM.
