Chizu Nakamura

CHIZU NAKAMURA, beloved wife of the late Toyosaburo Nakamura, passed away peacefully at Good Samaritans Park Meadow Village on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the age of 89 years. Chizu is survived by two sons: Rodney of Edmonton, Edward of Lethbridge; one daughter Joy of Calgary; one grandson Troy (Candace) Taperek; and two great grandsons of Calgary. She was predeceased by her husband Toyosaburo in 1994. Chizu was born in Mission City, BC and then relocated to the Picture Butte area in 1942. She has resided in Lethbridge since 1947. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. The family would like to thank Mom's caregivers at Good Samaritans who gave her very special loving care until her passing. Flowers and koden are gratefully declined. For those who wish, donations may be made in memory of Chizu to a charity of one's choice. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 6, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge, with Rev. Y. Izumi officiating. Inurnment will be held at the Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge. Cremation.
