Charles James McClain

CHARLES JAMES McCLAIN, husband and father, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 13, 2007. He is survived by his five children: Tanya Christine Cahoon (Paul) of Sherwood Park, Barry Michael (Diane) and Stephen Mark of Raymond, Roddy James of Salt Lake City, and Douglas Elliott (Deanna) of Medicine Hat; twelve grandchildren, one sister, Maxine of Edmonton and one brother, Larry of Cold Lake. He is predeceased by his wife, Colleen; his parents and one sister, Ruth. C.J. was born July 19, 1928 in Magrath, Alberta to Lawrence Clement McClain and Alberta Meldrum. He spent his life in construction and enjoyed golfing and fishing. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, Taylor Street Chapel, Raymond, with Bishop Todd Snow officiating. Interment will follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond. Friends may meet the family prior to the service at the church from 12:00 noon to 12:45 p.m.
