Caroline Sillito

SILLITO CAROLINE "CARRIE" SILLITO passed away in Lethbridge on Monday, February 1, 2016 at the age of 85 years. Carrie is survived by her three children: Randy (Lorraine), Morgan and Rhonda (Lisa). She is also survived by two granddaughters Danielle and Kimberly and one great granddaughter Myra. Carrie was the oldest of 4 children. She was born in Empress Alberta. Throughout her early life the family lived in BC and Alberta. She met the love of her life Arvil on New Years Eve and were married 5 years later in 1950. Carrie worked as a cook at the Galt Hospital for several years. She was part of the union startup and was president of the same. She worked there until after the birth of her second son. Then she took on her most important job as mother and wife. Through out her life she helped her father out at Sandy's Jewellery. A Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, NORTHSIDE CHAPEL, 2223-6 A. Avenue North,Lethbridge on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. Friends may meet the family prior to the service from 1:00 - 1:45 P.M. Interment to be held in the Orton Cemetery.
