Brian James Whitworth

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Brian J. Whitworth of Calgary, a loving husband to Beverly, devoted father to Daughter Karen (Fournier, Daniel). Son, Jason and cherished grandfather of Brian John, Jake and Brooke. Devoted son of the late Jean and Harvey Whitworth and brother Richard.

Brian, a wonderful man whose warmth, kindness and sense of humour touched the lives of many, left us too early at the age of 79. He peacefully slipped away on a beautiful sunny morning at Foothills Medical Center on August 31, 2026.

Brian’s life was a testament to love and family. He dedicated himself to nurturing those around him, always offering support and wisdom. His laughter and spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

In this time of grief, let us remember Brian for the joy he brought into our lives and the indelible mark he left on our hearts.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 290 Edgepark Blvd NW, Calgary, AB. A reception with family and friends will immediately follow at the church.
