Beverly Jean (Pratt) Carswell

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Beverly Jean Carswell (Pratt), who passed away peacefully on August 9, 2026, at St. Therese Villa in Lethbridge, Alberta, at the age of 79 years.

Beverly was the beloved wife of the late David Carswell and a devoted mother, grandmother, and soon-to-be great-grandmother. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Sherri (Tony) Caldicott; her grandchildren, Connor and Victoria; and her soon-to-arrive great-grandson, Julian, whose arrival is expected any day.

She was predeceased by her parents John and Dixie Pratt, her brother Ken, son Mike and her husband David.

Beverly had a lifelong love of music and was, above all, a caregiver at heart. In her younger years, she worked as a nurse, and that calling to care for others continued throughout her life as she dedicated herself to supporting individuals with special needs. She always wanted the best for those around her and had a natural ability to make people feel cared for and valued.

Beverly was a giving and kind woman who rarely asked for anything for herself. Her family meant everything to her, and she would do anything for the people she loved. She especially adored her grandchildren and took great joy in making others smile. She was an amazing lady whose kindness, generosity, and caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at St. Therese Villa for the exceptional care and compassion they provided to Beverly.

Friends may meet the family on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home, 703 – 13 Street North, Lethbridge, Alberta. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
