Beulah Freeze

March 18, 1913 - July 31, 2011 BEULAH (SHERWOOD) MAY FREEZE passed away peacefully on Sunday July 31, 2011 at the age of 98 years. She will be greatly missed by her family: daughters Carol Freeze, Judy Butler (Bryce) and son Brian Freeze (Bronwyn), 10 grandchildren - Eric, Robert, Laura, Jodie, Kent, Megan, Michael Freeze, and Andrea, Suzanne and Joshua Butler; and 26 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her eternal companion of 48 years Dio Emil Nielsen Freeze, an infant daughter June Patricia Freeze, sisters Opal, Pearl, and Ida,and brothers Orton,Wilfred, Morley and Ocky. Beulah was born on March 18, 1913 in Pincher Creek, Alberta but her birth was not registered until April 16, 1913. Beulah was a devoted wife and mother who loved serving her family and friends. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held several positions, especially enjoying teaching children in the Primary. She worked many years for Woolworths in Calgary in the hardware department and subsequently for Fay's Apparel in Lethbridge. She was a skilled seamstress and loved to cook for her family. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Good Samaritans Prairie Ridge facility in Raymond, Alberta for the excellent care Beulah received. A private family service will be held. Interment will follow in the Mountain View Memorial Gardens, 1515-100 Street SE, Calgary. No flowers by request.
