Betty McGregor

BETTY JUNE McGREGOR, beloved wife of Malcolm McGregor, passed away at home in Lethbridge on Monday, May 11, 2009 at the age of 82 years. She is the loving mother of: Cheryl (Doug) McIlmoyle of Calgary, and Rob McGregor (Gail Escott) of Vancouver. She leaves behind six grandchildren: Michael, David (Shauna), Diane (Michael), Laura, Kyle, Kellie; one great grandchild, Steven; siblings: Madeline, Lorraine, Lyle, Gary; and a brother-in-law Robert. Betty is predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Martha Robinson, and siblings: LaVre, Blair, Dallas, Grant, and Veda. She was born on December 24, 1926 in Cardston, Alberta. Betty will be deeply missed by her husband Malcolm of 63 years. Her children and grandchildren will miss her unconditional love and wonderful sense of humor. Although we will miss having our wife, mother, and grandma here on earth, we take comfort in knowing she has gone home to her Heavenly Father. Friends may meet the family prior to the funeral service on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON FUNERAL HOME, 327-10 Street South, Lethbridge. Interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, #207-542-7 Street South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 2H1.
