Betty Velma Audenaert

BETTY VELMA AUDENAERT (Still), beloved wife of the late Rene Emil Audenaert, passed away in Raymond on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the age of 84 years.

Betty was born April 3, 1932 in Raymond, Alberta. She attended school in Raymond. She had a passion for farming and gardening. Betty was married to Rene for 60 years. She had a strong passion for grandchildren as well as her great grandchildren. They were the light of her life.

She is survived by two daughters: Shirley (Martin) DeHeer, Pat Lucas (Allan Taylor), 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren, and siblings: Bert, Bob (Phyllis), and Doris.

Betty is predeceased by her husband, Rene, parents Annie and Herbert J. Still, sons Robert and Alan, son-in-law William, granddaughter Amber, siblings: Rosella, Norma, Richard and 2 babies at birth; sisters-in-law: Marie, Carol, Arlene.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, TAYLOR STREET CHAPEL, 221 North 400 West, Raymond, with Bishop Lanny Howard officiating.

Friends may meet the family at the church prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment to follow at Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond.
