Bennett Rasmussen

BENNETT JOHN RASMUSSEN passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2012 in Raymond at the age of 96 years, beloved husband of the late Marjorie Gill Rasmussen. He was predeceased by his wife Marjorie Gill, his son Devon Cole, his parents John Moroni Rasmussen and Mary Maude Bennett and five siblings. He will be missed by his seven surviving children: Barton (Marlene) Rasmussen, Barbara (Clark-deceased) Dainard, Dwight (Mandy) Rasmussen, Lennie (Kelvin) Kado, Valene Steele (Gordon Low), Dixie (Jim) Coleman, Devon (deceased) (Gayla) Rasmussen, and Heather (Brent) Nemeth, 32 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren, and three surviving siblings: Fontella Boehme, Alice Faye Rogers, and DeAnne Atwood. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Magrath Garden Chapel, 170 N Centre Street, Magrath. Friends may meet the family at the church on Friday evening, September 28 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. or prior to the funeral service on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. Interment in the Magrath Cemetery.
