Arne Aalgaard

ARNE S. AALGAARD 1939 - 2007 Passed away in Lethbridge, Thursday, May 10, 2007, MR. ARNE STANLEY AALGAARD, at the age of 67 years, beloved husband of Liliam Aalgaard and devoted father of Stephanie Aalgaard. Arne was born in Trail, BC on June 7, 1939. A few years later the family moved to a farm in Diamond City, where he went to school and in his teens farmed with his father and brother. In the 1960's he continued farming with his father in the Claresholm and Warner area. After retirement Arne never lost his love of country life. The acreage in Granum was his pride and joy. There, he made many dear friends with whom he enjoyed golfing, camping, and good times. Besides his wife and daughter, Arne is survived by his sister Signe McCance and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Trygve and Jennie Aalgaard, his brother Valdean, and two sisters: Dina Resvick and June Jasztrabszky. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge, with Bishop Doran Anderson officiating. Friends may meet the family prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Cremation to follow.
