Anna Olejarnik

ANNA OLEJARNIK passed away in Lethbridge on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the age of 83 years. She is survived by her children: Joe and Sophie Matkowski, Kathy and Kent Campbell, Bill and Pam Olejarnik, Irene and Richard Wills; a step-daughter Mary Bartel and Ken Salberg; special friend Deanna Peters and Ed; 11 grandchildren: Kristen, Brandon, Jessica, Pamela, Jason, Christopher, Teresa, Kevin, Darren, Jenny, and Marcina; 9 great grandchildren: Elysia, Brianne, Katlynd, Matija, Chantelle, Kayden, Ailyse, Cathrine, and Stephanie; sister Mary Kluczkowski; and numerous nieces and nephews. Anna is predeceased by: her mother Anastasia Dzuiban, father Ivan Dzuiban, first husband Fred Matkowski, second husband Kazimier Olejarnik, twin sister Stephanie Soch, and brother Micheal Dzuiban, brothers-in-law John Soch, Carl Kluczkowski, nephews Bill and Orest Kluczkowski. Mom loved to travel, especially to the Waterton area. She loved camping and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Other favourite hobbies included her flowers and garden, her animals, and embroidery. Prayers will be said on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Ss. Peter & Paul Greek Catholic Church, 640-12 C. Street North, Lethbridge. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Ss. PETER & PAUL GREEK CATHOLIC CHURCH, with Rev. Gary Sedgwick, Celebrant. Interment in the Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge. Thank-you to the Doctors and Nurses that took care of Mom at the Regional Hospital. Also to the staff of St. Michaels for taking excellent care of Mom. We appreciate it very much, especially Carmen and Gaya.
