Alvin Zeh

ALVIN ZEH, beloved husband of Shirley, passed away at St. Michael's Palliative Care Centre on Thursday, August 7, 2008 at the age of 83 years. He is the loving father of: Dennis (Beverly) Zeh of Calgary, Marvin (Catherine) Zeh of Calgary, Marlene (Jon) Walker of Houston, TX, and Sharilyn (Ron) Bolton of Delta, BC. He also leaves behind five granddaughters: Carrie (Bill) Patton, Cory Zeh, Natalie Henshlwood, Tamara Saras, and Lalani Knight; and two great grandchildren: Karley and Wyatt Patton. Alvin is also survived by a brother Gordon (Betty) Zeh of Rimby, AB, sisters: Esther Campbell of Trochu, AB, Elsie (Lyle) Johnson, and Dorothy Davies of Ponoka, AB. He was predeceased by his parents David and Rebecca Zeh, and brothers-in-law John Campbell and Gerald Davies. Alvin was born in Trochu, AB on April 29, 1925 to David and Rebecca Zeh. He will be missed by his wife, Shirley of 32 years, and his faithful companion, Benji. He also leaves to mourn numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at Bridge Villa Estates Office, 2300- 13 Street North, Lethbridge, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday August 23, 2008. A Graveside Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge, with Rev. Elizabeth Brown officiating. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Michael's Palliative Care, 1400-9 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 4V5.
